100 curious minds, one inspiring day, and a whole industry ahead of them
Placement International recently hosted a hospitality workshop for students in Cambodia, bringing international industry expertise directly to local talent. Our representative Trang Nguyen Quynh led the session alongside our partners from Left Lane Hospitality, the team behind Recess Hotel and Hotel Bardo Savannah. Around 100 students joined, and their curiosity set the tone for the whole day.
What did the Cambodia workshop cover?
The session connected students directly with working industry professionals. The focus stayed on real experience and practical insight.
The day included:
- 100 hospitality students taking part
- Industry expertise shared by Left Lane Hospitality
- Open questions on building an international career
Why is mentorship so valuable early in a career?
Mentorship shortens the distance between ambition and action. Hearing from people already doing the work changes what feels possible.
According to the OECD, skills development and practical training strongly influence employment outcomes for young people. Sessions like this put that principle into practice.
How can students in Cambodia take the next step?
Students take the next step by exploring which international pathway fits their goals. Our team supports them through every stage.
We're proud to support the future of this industry alongside partners who share our commitment to mentorship and growth. If you're ready to explore your options, our team is here for you. Begin your journey today.
