Five universities, one week, and a generation ready to go global
Placement International recently completed a university recruitment tour across South Korea, visiting five campuses to present our culinary and hospitality placement programs. Over the course of the trip, our team met students exploring J-1 opportunities in the United States and answered their questions face to face. The welcome we received on every campus made the tour genuinely memorable.
What did the South Korea recruitment tour involve?
Our team spent the week moving between campuses and meeting students directly. Each visit centred on real career pathways rather than general advice.
Across the five universities, we:
- Presented our culinary and hospitality placement programs
- Explained how J-1 opportunities in the United States work
- Answered honest questions from students and university teams
Why is South Korean talent valuable in global hospitality?
South Korean students bring precision, discipline, and a strong service culture to international roles. Those qualities travel exceptionally well.
According to UN Tourism, Asia-Pacific travel continues to expand steadily, strengthening the region's hospitality education and workforce. That growth gives Korean graduates a solid professional foundation.
How can students in South Korea start their journey?
Students start by exploring which program matches their studies and goals. From there, our team guides them through every step.
We are deeply grateful to the students and university teams who welcomed us onto their campuses. If you are ready to take your career abroad, our team is here for you. Start your journey today.
