Marriott acquired Starwood hotels, making it part of the Marriott International chain. The loyalty program of Starwood is now merged with Marriott’s.

Unlike almost all hotels, Marriott allows customers to enter the room and unwind without being stopped at the front desk to pay, provide a security deposit, or make a copy of their passport.
